The Take Action Network (TAN) is a free tool built specifically for Washington state residents who want to make their voice heard in Olympia—without having to become a political expert to do it.
Once you sign up, volunteers are already doing the hard work of tracking bills and figuring out the best moments to act. When a bill you care about is up for a vote, you'll get a simple email alert. From there, it takes about two minutes: click a link, send a pre-written message to your legislators, and you're done. No researching bill numbers, no hunting for contact info, no figuring out what to say.
You can follow issues that matter to you—health care, the environment, voting rights, education, and more—and you'll only hear from TAN when your action can actually make a difference.

This civic engagement toolkit was initially created in response to a student remarking, "I'm too young to vote, so I don't have a voice." We all have a voice—regardless of age or citizenship status!
This guide gives specific advice on making your voice heard on everything from voter registration and how to contact elected officials to information about pending legislation and how to amplify your message. Open the toolkit.

Best training around! The Resistance Lab was developed with experts who have researched and studied democratic backsliding around the world as well as in the United States and the non-violent movements that have emerged to challenge those authoritarian leaders. The Labs also draw from many toolkits for effective tactics and frameworks as well as from Pramila’s own background leading successful organizing movements for economic and social justice for two decades.
