Communities Rising, an Indivisible group, invites Seattle-area progressive groups, friends, and family to gather for conversation, networking, food, and fun.

• Rally for Due Process and Rule of Law | Noon–1:30 | Federal Building
  An Indivisible event: Sign-waving in defense of democracy. RSVP and info. (915 2nd Ave.)

• Community Over Chaos Rally | 4:30–5:30pm | Holman Overpass
  Join fellow WI-ers for a weekly rally on the pedestrian overpass adjacent to Small Faces Childcare on Holman Rd NW and 13th Ave NW. They have signs and music. Email Nancy at nrhunter1953@gmail.com for more information.

• Defenders of Democracy rally | Noon–1pm | Ballard
  Join Ballard Defenders of Democracy from noon to 1 PM at Bergen Place (triangle at Market and Leary). Family friendly, signs provided if needed, music often on hand! 

• Freedom Rally | 3–4pm | Green Lake
  Join fellow WI-ers and neighborhood resisters for a weekly rally at Green Lake, across from Starbucks (7110 E Green Lake Dr.). Grab your sign and stand up for democracy!

Aug 9 | Meet your neighbors, enjoy a cool drink, GOTV | 3–5 PM
Defund Musk has organized a community group that meets every other week (come as often as you can) to do what it takes to prevent Trump from stealing the midterms. We'll begin with postcarding to encourage potential progressives to register to vote in purple states. RSVP for dates and location.

Aug 20 | WI Potluck Picnic | 5–10 PM | Blue Ridge Beach
RSVP to Julie at jcwinar@msn.com. Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. To get there, go north on 24th Avenue NW to NW 100th Street. Turn left onto NW Blue Ridge Dr and drive to the bottom of the hill. The park is right on the shoreline of Puget Sound.

Bring:

•  A dish to share, (A–M: mains; N–Z: desserts)

• Beach chairs or blanket

• Maybe a Frisbee, corn hole game, etc.
