No Kings Day – June 14! Why? Because we do not have kings in the US and while our constitution and norms are being pushed to the limits and beyond, so is the resistance.

FEDERAL ACTION – BY JUNE 16
The Big Bad Budget Bill now in the Senate: The goal is to pressure for changes in Senate version of the bill and slow down the whole process as much as possible. There is pressure coming from the top to get this done by July 4th for the optics and to ensure details stay misunderstood or invisible. Our job is to shine that big bright light. It is starting to work.
· Phone Bank with Indivisible: Join Indivisible on every Wed/Thurs in June, 8-9:30am, to phone bank into Republican states to connect constituents with their senators. More info and RSVP here.
· Contact the Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee: Not a single hearing has been held in the Finance Committee! Demand that they schedule a markup of the budget bill that would slash health care, nutrition assistance, fire prevention and forest management, and clean energy investments. Yes, this must be done individually. Write out a short comment and just copy and paste.
